Pathfinders Walking Group
Who are we?
The group has no formal membership, only an invitation to anyone in the four villages of Great Gransden, Little Gransden, Waresley or Abbotsley to participate - and over the years we have attracted a variety of people from somewhat wider afield, including overseas visitors. Everyone is made welcome. Pathfinders is a purely voluntary organisation, just a group of like-minded individuals who enjoy company and walking. Come and join us for an approx. 2 hour / 4 mile walk. Please note that the walk coordinators are volunteers who accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or injury sustained by any walker accompanying them. Walkers undertake the walks at their own risk, and join the walk only upon acceptance of this risk.
Where do we go?
The majority of walks are centred on the village of Great Gransden, but many venture further afield to St Ives, Potton, Bourn and more, with the group meeting at a specified location in the appointed village. As some of the walks cross private land with special permission from the owners, and others cross sports fields or other places where animals are banned, please don't bring your dogs with you on any of our walks.
How can I join you?
Just turn up at one of our walks! We run our walks every other Wednesday morning, throughout the year - come wind or weather (except when it's really nasty!). We publish the schedule for the coming month in the the parishes' magazine, Roundabout. If we need to make late changes, we will publish them here as a banner at the top of the page.
Can I contact you?
Yes, just drop an email to pathfinders@gransdens.org. We will try to get back to you soon, but make no promises.
